The Group Chief of Staff Team is the sparring partner of the Executive Board (CEO, CFO & COO) to support Bauer Media Group’s strategic development and transformation. In close collaboration with all four Business Areas and the central Group functions, its members simultaneously act as gatekeepers, advisors, and implementers of strategic initiatives to enable the Executive Board to excel in their work. We are looking for a highly-motivated and independent personality to join the team as Group Senior Project Manager (f/m/d).

Focus of the role:

  • Support and advisory to the Executive Board in strategic projects and day to day business
  • Management of international strategic projects (i.e., Group Strategy, Business Transformation, M&A, process optimization)
  • Coordination of strategic priorities and key projects with top management of all Business Areas and stakeholders across the Group
  • Preparation of meetings, decision papers and presentations
  • Ad hoc analysis of strategy papers, market data and business cases

We look for:

  • Very good university degree (Bachelor’s or Master‘s) in management, economics, or social sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in project management, corporate development and/or consulting; work experience in the media industry or with digital products is an advantage
  • Proven project management skills
  • Business fluency in English (verbally and written); additional languages (German, Polish, Spanish, French) are an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and methodological confidence
  • Strong conceptional and strategic capabilities with an affinity for financial and data-driven work
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to understand and navigate international team dynamics
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication skills in senior management context and ability to build and develop relationships with people at all levels in the organization
  • Well-organized, stress-resistant personality with good time management
  • Teamplayer with high intrinsic motivation to go the extra mile
