As part of the group HR team based in the headquarters of the Bauer Media Group in Hamburg, the HR Administration/Personalsachbearbeiter (m/f/d) supports the Senior HRBP for Group Executives & Reward and the HR Business Partners for Group Business Partner Teams in all people related matters along the HR cycle. Thereby the HR Data & Admin Expert shall provide high-quality and target-group data overviews by using Excel, ensure flawless administrative HR processes and support the HRBPs in providing high-quality service and consulting for all managers and employees across the business units.

The Group Business Areas are under major transition from locally based responsibilities towards matrix ways of working. The objective of this new role is to support the transformation by providing high-quality HR data compilations and data analysis to deliver transparent overviews of e.g., headcount and FTEs to HR and managers across the Group. Furthermore, the role contributes to the operational excellence of the day-to-day business through the provision of high-quality HR administration. The person will report to the Senior HR Business Partner for Group Executives and Reward.

Your responsibilities

  • Support Senior HRBP for Executives & Rewards as well as the HRBPs for Group Business Partner Teams in all people related matters
  • Creation and maintenance of HR-statistics and reports by exchanging with local HR departments on people data and using Excel
  • Drawing up employment contracts, contract amendments, employment certificates, letters of reference, salary increase letters etc.
  • Coordination and collaboration with local payroll departments to ensure that all relevant payroll information is in place
  • Organisation of meetings, job interviews etc.
  • Collaboration in HR projects

Your profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or a university degree, preferably in international business administration or any other discipline complementary to the role
  • Ideally first practical experience in HR or controlling in an international environment
  • Very good Excel skills and enjoy working with large amounts of data is a must
  • First experience with the preparation of employment contracts and certification desirable
  • A very accurate and conscientious way of working
  • Precise, reliable and trustworthy
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German
  • Another language such as Polish, Spanish etc. would be advantageous
