Bauer Finance KG in Hamburg is the internal service provider in Bauer Media Group for accounting, controlling and treasury. This includes financial accounting with accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting, the treasury department as well as controlling for the Group and for Germany. In Bauer Finance KG the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the budgets are prepared, payment transactions are made and processes are analysed and controlled. Through close coordination and cooperation with all other areas of the Bauer Media Group, reliable information and bases for decision-making can be made available.

For our team located in Hamburg we are looking for a Personal Assistant Finance (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • Supporting the Vice President FP&A, Senior Vice President Procurement & CFO Global Technology, Data & Transformation in operational and administrative day-to-day business, e.g. handling emails/mail, answering phones, managing office supplies, data maintenance, hosting guests, coordinating new hires and departures, filing, etc.
  • Planning, monitoring, and coordination of meeting appointments with preparation and follow-up of content
  • Invoice processing, preparation of payment instructions
  • Independent planning, organisation and follow-up of business trips incl. expense claims
  • Organisation and coordination of events
  • Preparation and follow-up of meetings, taking minutes, keeping track of tasks
  • Support in the preparation of presentations, reports and memos in German and English
  • Preparing internal and external correspondence in German and English

Your profile

  • Completed commercial training or studies and at least 3 - 5 years of professional experience as an assistant (m/f/d) in an international working environment
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and a professional way of working
  • Quick perception and high adaptability
  • Pleasant manners
  • Confident appearance in personal and telephone contacts
  • Organisational skills, flexibility, commitment and ability to work under pressure
  • High degree of independence, ability to work in a team, discretion and loyalty
