The newly established Bauer Global Technology group sets the technology strategy for Bauer companies. It co-ordinates major investments and change programmes with the primary goal of bringing the company on a journey from a highly federated set of autonomous and independent companies, to an operation that maximises the opportunity of working at scale across the group – through knowledge sharing, collaboration and centres of excellence. One important stream in this journey is the development and constant maintenance of a group wide Information Security Program covering all relevant business areas. This includes the protection of enterprise IT systems and services that support activities such as publishing, printing, radio broadcasting, and digital customer facing services within our online comparison platform and search engine optimisation businesses.
 
Within this comprehensive and exciting area the IT-Project Manager shall support the ongoing changes by managing a variety of different technological and organisational IT-Projects, initially with a primary but not exclusive focus on IT-Security.

For the Bauer Global Technology team we are looking for the next possible date for a


IT-Project Manager International (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to achieve defined project goals in time, budget, scope and quality as project manager within local and group wide projects
  • Supporting large projects as project coordinator and/or sub-project manager
  • Application of  project management duties such as definition of the project scope, requirements management, cost/effort estimation, planning, controlling, reporting, change management and risk management
  • Application, administration and support of project management and ticketing software
  • Management and controlling of external service providers
  • Representing  projects at all levels
  • Supporting the IT project portfolio management of the group
  • Contributing to the further development of PM processes and methods in the group
  • Support of smaller projects as well as individual employees with project management know-how through consulting, training and coaching

Key qualifications:
  • In-depth understanding of information technology concepts, technologies, systems and architectures
  • Significant previous experience managing IT projects in the areas of security, infrastructure, operations, SAP or individual development projects in heterogeneous system landscapes
  • Professional qualifications (PRINCE2, PMI, SCRUM) would be an advantage
  • Experience in the use and support of complex project management software
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills paired with the ability to drive change and influence across a highly matrix managed organization
  • Highly effective and creative problem-solving skills paired with process-orientation as well as analytical and economic thinking and working methods
  • Strong ability to work in a team and willingness to take on different PM related roles
  • Strong interest in the systematic development of group wide project management
  • Proficient at common Microsoft Office products and experience in collaboration environments
  • Excellent English and solid German language skills are mandatory
