Overview
The departmen
t of Group Financial Planning & Analysis (GFP&A) defines and implements controlling standards and manages the reporting system as well as the budget and forecast processes at the headquarters in Hamburg in order to measure the success of the entire Group. In this way, the team enables the analysis, control and improvement of the operational and financial performance compared to the targets, and supports the Group Management in its strategy, decision-making processes and reviews. The guidance and advice provided by GFP&A enables the individual Business Areas as well as the Business Units to identify their potential and manage their processes accordingly.

For our team located in Hamburg we are looking for a

 
Senior FP&A Analyst (m/f/d)

Your tasks: 
  • Sovereign business partner for ongoing reporting, group controlling and business processes for national and international subsidiaries
  • Independent preparation and analysis of the monthly management reporting as well as analysis and meaningful commentary on the business development for the top management
  • Responsible support for the planning- and strategy- processes for the subsidiaries
  • Proactive development of reporting and controlling- approaches/-instruments
  • Support and initiation of projects for standardization and optimization of financial processes and structures as well as various special projects and ad-hoc topics
  • Independent implementation of impairment-tests and investment evaluations
  • Preparation of decision papers for the top management
  • Development and implementation of group-wide guidelines

Your qualifications:
  • Successfully completed business studies, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting according to HGB
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ERP- and Reporting-Systems (e.g. SAP FI/CO and SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Experience with Simulation-Tools (e.g. Monte Carlo Simulation, regression analysis) would be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of German and business fluent English (verbally and written)
  • Pronounced analytical and conceptual skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • M&A experience is an advantage
